Why is this important?  To prevent you from being charged for a house visit when your thinking it's 

covered under warranty. Just because you have a warranty doesn't mean the issue will be covered.

Case and point.  Mrs. Smith's dryer is not working right because the vent hose has been restricted by a 

bottle of fabric softener had fallen back behind it and is crushing the vent.  Not covered.

Case and point.  Mr. Jones washer leaked all over the floor.  We find that the drain needs to be rotor-rootered

due to a restriction in the pipes.  Not covered.
